And how many people buy a $3500 MacBookPro? a million or two a year. The price, the featureset, the functionality, this is like selling laptops to people all over again. This is like a laptop from literally 30 years ago. The Vision Pro has a two hour battery life. Then look at sales of top tier Mac Book Pros. So compare a Vision Pro as a Mac for your face, a facial computer to a MacBook Pro as a mac for your lap (a lap-top) and that works quite well. NOTHING that Apple has made works with comparison to this the price point except Mac Computers. ![]() The Newton was the precursor to the iPad in price and functionality. The Apple Newton was $900 at launch in 1993. The Magic Leap was $2300 for the ML1 and $3300 for the ML2. The Apple Vison Pro cannot be compared to an iPhone unless the comparer is going to price subsidize every consumer at a rate of $1800 per consumer. ![]() iPhones have gotten slightly more expensive even adjusted for inflation. The iPhone 14 Pro in 2022 was $999 for the base model with $1099 and $1299 for increases in memory storage. People keep comparing the Apple Vision Pro to the iPhone. ![]()
